Through BlogCatalog, I belong to a group called: "My Life Thinking" run by Hisham. Wow, another change of blog template! I guess the black fits the supernatural theme better. But personally, I prefer the previous cheery blue template.

Yes, I decided to make my background black, since I changed the header, to go only, as you said, with the supernatural theme.
However, I do have some other cheery colors in there, besides the black. The template had mostly just blah grey, but I changed the colors. I do prefer brighter colors too, so you never know, it could end up getting changed back. I have some other headers I could use. :)
This header is called something like "Sunburst", and has the yellow, but yellow is not really my favorite color, so as you can see my favorite colors are in there, purples, and blues.
If I had a header that would match, I would use a purple background, and not black. I can't find any headers that would match that would work on my page.

Where do you get those pretty headers from? I think the sunburst is cool. Or perhaps you can use a blackish blue background instead? Just so you got the blue, but dark enough to match the theme.
